Dear Alum Rock Voter,

Serving on the Alum Rock School Board has been one of the greatest honors of my life. Throughout my service, I have worked to put students first, strengthen our district, and ensure taxpayer dollars are used responsibly.

Some of the work I am proud to have helped accomplish includes:

• Improved district finances, moving from a qualified budget to a positive budget.

• Increased transparency and accountability by establishing an Audit Committee and leading audits of our bond program.

• Reduced special-interest influence by authoring a policy banning political contributions from district contractors.

• Protected district property by opposing the sale of district land and helping preserve the former Fischer Middle School site, securing a $12 million investment to transform it into a state-of-the-art campus.

• Secured a permanent home for Eastridge Little League, creating a lasting community space for local children and families.

• Expanded full-day kindergarten, giving our youngest students more time to learn and build a strong educational foundation.

• Developed teacher workforce housing to help recruit and retain talented educators.

• Expanded Spanish and Vietnamese dual-immersion opportunities, providing more students access to multilingual education.

I am proud of what we have accomplished together and remain committed to strong schools, responsible stewardship of public resources, and educational opportunities for every Alum Rock student.
